Where to take a walk in the city of Aktobe –
The complex of monuments “Alley of Heroes” - opened in the city of Aktobe on September 23, 2010, is a building of monumental art, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Heroes of the Soviet Union. In total, 46 monuments were installed on the Alley of Heroes, heroes of Aktobe residents who received the title Hero of the Great Patriotic War. Each monument has a plaque with the name and surname of the hero and his image. In the Great Patriotic War, 122,000 Aktobe residents took part, 39,000 died at the front, this war left an indelible wound in the hearts of all residents of the Soviet Union. In just 4 years of war, over 55 million people died. A total of 1 million 300 thousand people from Kazakhstan took part in the war. Sculptors of the bas-relief on the steles: Zh. Kenbay, M.
