Tour to Altyn Emel National Park 4 days
The Altyn-Emel National Park is a reserve park in Kazakhstan, located in the southeast of Kazakhstan in the Almaty region. The park protects 4596 square kilometers of land. The national park covers the southwestern foothills of the Dzungarian Alatau and extends in the south to the Kapshagay reservoir and sections of the Ili River. The park is home to 70 species of mammals, including goitered gazelle (Gazella subgutturoza), argali (Ovis ammon) and Turkmenian donkey (Kulan) (Equus hemionus kulan). In 2003, eight wild Przewalski's horses were brought to the reserve. The animals are now breeding successfully and can be easily observed here.
The administration of the Altyn-Emel National Park is located in the small village of Bashchi, north of the park. We offer excursions and tours to the Singing Dune, Aktau and Katutau mountains and other attractions of the national park. It is forbidden to enter the national park without a local escort. In the Altyn-Emel National Park itself, there are several accommodation options in all price categories. Free camping is allowed, but only with a guide.

Tour itinerary:
Transfer: Almaty apple city – Baschi village – Shagan check point – Manbulak check point – Singing dunes (351 km)
By the way we will pass Ili river bridge, Kapshagay reservoir, Altyn emel pass, stop here for show walking. In Baschi village we will arrange park entry permits, Lunch at the guest house.
From Baschi village to Singing dunes 48 km. Hiking to the Dune and fast running down to make the sand moving and you will hear the sound of Dunes. From Singing dunes transfer to Shokan Valihanov water spring, walking around, little rest. From water spring to Oshaktas stone stelas 8 km, walking around, visit stela and continue tour to Manbulak check point, here you can see small lake where we take a rest, and watching how fish lives in the lake. Back to Baschi village 37 km, dinner and overnight at the guest house.
Transfer: Baschi village – Beshatir kurgans – Terekti gorge (176 km).
Visiting Beshtir kurgans after 55 km, Besshatir kurgans (VII-VI cen). Complex consist of 31 kurgans, and one of the big is the leader of Saks. Lunch on the way, after Beshatir we will visit Terekti gorge after 33 km, here we can find rock painting drawing, walking around, making photos. Back to Baschi village 88 km. Dinner and overnight at the guest house.
Transfer: Baschi village – Nurum village – Aktobe village – Aktau mountains – Katu Tau gorge – Kosbastau gorge tract (153 km).
By the way we will be driving along the Aktau and katu Tau mountains, arriving to Aktau different colors mountains, walking to mount, walking up to the gorge, lunch on the way, after Aktau mountains continue tour to Katu Tau gorge 26 km, walking around, making photos, continue tour to Kosbastau gorge and tract 27 km, walking around, rest. Back to Baschi 29 km.
Dinner and overnight at the guest house.
