Tour to Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve
Aksu-Zhabaglinsky Reserve (Russian Aksu-Zhabaglinsky Reserve Aksu-Shabaglinsky Sapovedennik, Kazakh. Aksu-Zhabagyly қorygy). The reserve is located in the south of the Republic of Kazakhstan and includes the northwestern ranges of the Tien Shan mountains. The name of the reserve comes from the name of the largest river of the Aksu reserve and the Shabagyly mountain range, which flows in the northern part of the territory. Korygy) is the oldest state nature reserve in Central Asia. The Aksu-Dzhabagly reserve extends to the foothills of the Talas Alatau, in the mountains of the Western Tien Shan. It borders in the east with the Kyrgyz Republic, in the south with the Maidontol river valley and with the Republic of Uzbekistan. To the west of the reserve lies the Kyzylkum desert, and to the north of it are the Karatau mountains. Further ranges of the Tien Shan extend to the east and south.

Tour itinerary:
Meeting at the Almaty city airport by guide and driver, transfer to the hotel, accommodation, rest.
City tour in Almaty apple city, visiting Green Bazar Almaty Market (1875), walking to 28th Panfilovs city Park, here you can see Cathedral Palace (1904), Eternal Flame Monument, Museum of Musical Instruments, Almaty Central City Museum. Lunch at the restaurant.
Transfer to Kok Tube mount, cable way to Kok Tube mount (H1070) (1.7 km, 5 minute.) panorama of Almaty apple city, visiting small ZOO there (hunting birds, peacock, pheasant, deer, etc.) Beatles monument, souvenir shop, art gallery. Transfer to the train station, Otrar train from Almaty city to Tyulkubas (680 km, 12 hours), dinner and night at the train.
Arrival at the Tyulkubas train station at 6.30, meeting at the train station.
Transfer: Tyulkubas train station – Jabagly village – Toshpak check point – Ulken Kaindy gorge and tract (38 km).
Arrival at the Toshpak check point, breakfast, little rest, meeting local horse farmer, acquaintance with a horses. Horse-riding to Ulken Kaindy tract and gorge (H1800ft) (8 km).
By the way we will see great panorama of river valley, with high mountains around. Ulken Kaidy means Big Birch, continue out tour to Toshpak Saz tract. Lunch on the way. Back to Toshpak check point, dinner and overnight at the summer camp of reserve.

Breakfast at the camp, transfer to Shymkent (60 km), Shymkent train station, train from Shymkent city to Almaty city (780 km). Lunch at the local café, dinner and overnight at the train.
Meeting at the train station at 08.50, transfer to hotel, breakfast, free time, rest. End of program.
