Trekking or Horseback Riding to Lake Palevskoye -
Lake Palevskoye is located high in the mountains at an altitude of almost 2,000 meters above sea level; to be more precise, the lake is located at an altitude of 1,971 meters above sea level.
How to Get There and Visit -
The lake is located in Eastern Kazakhstan, more specifically on the Ivanovo Range, in the Ridder District, near the village of Ridder. The place is called Black Knot.
Tourist Information
Hiking or horseback riding is possible here. The Gramtukha River originates from the lake; if you travel west along the Black Knot tract, you will soon reach the lake. Lake Palevskoye is located in Kazakhstan's Altai Mountains. The lake is almost one kilometer long and 400 meters wide. In the same area, 10 kilometers away, is the famous Vysheivanovsky Belok (White Mountain), which rises to a height of 2,800 meters.
