Tortkara is the name of one of the Sibinsky lakes, it is considered the fourth and is located after Lake Shalkar. The lake is located among low granite mountains and hills. It is a local landmark and resting place.

The lake is located in a picturesque place among granite rocks, surrounded by low hills. On Lake Tortkara there are recreation centers and places for independent spending time. The lake is 1.6 kilometers long and 1 kilometer wide. The lake is located 800 meters above sea level. Near the lake there is a hill (mountain) with a height of 1160 meters above sea level. You can go up the mountain for short trekking. Water enters the lake from groundwater and also after the winter melting of snow. In the lake there are ducks, muskrats, there are fish such as carp and pike. A very rare and endangered quadrangular lily grows in the lake.
