The mountains are located in the Kyzylorda region, on the shores of the Aral Sea, the distance from the sea coast to the mountains is 2 kilometers. The main landmark here is the Butakov Bay, on the small Aral Sea. There is also a mountain Karasandyk with a height of only 200 meters.
