How to Get There and Visit -
The lake is located in the Ulytau District, Karaganda Region, in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is 46 kilometers from the village of Korgasyn to Lake Barakkol, and 48 kilometers from the village of Belbulak. The main landmark here is the village of Terssakan.

Tourist Information
The lake is home to various bird species, making it popular with birdwatchers who enjoy observing and photographing birds. Flamingos can be seen on the lake; during migration, small groups of 100-200 flamingos can be seen here.
Lake Barakkol is an ornithological area of Kazakhstan and is therefore protected by the state of Kazakhstan. According to one theory, the lake was named in honor of the great Sultan Barakka. Geese, swans, and brant geese can also be seen on Lake Barakkol.
