Assy Plateau 3 day
Assy is a high-mountainous beautiful plateau, located in the Turgen mountain gorge in the Almaty region. To get to the plateau, we need to climb the upper reaches of the Turgen Gorge. There is a high-altitude astronomical observatory on the plateau, the place is very popular, here you can have a great time outdoors in the mountains and look at the stars through a telescope at night. You can go here both for one day and for several days, a mountain road passes through the plateau along which we can get to the Bartogai reservoir. The Assy plateau is 40 kilometers long; on the plateau you can meet nomads with herds of animals, cows, horses, sheep and goats. A mountain river which is also called Assy flows along the plateau.

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer: Almaty apple city – Issyk village – Turgen gorge – Batan place – Shenturgen river – Assy plateau – Assy pass (H2510) – Turgen Observatory – Assy farm – Jaman Ui tract (149 km, 2 hours).
By the way we will visit Issyk Kurgans (IV cen.) in 1970 here was found Golden Man symbol of Kazakhstan. He was all dressed in golden wear, consist of 4 thousand golden parts with symbols of beasts, characterized for Saki tribe. Turgen gorge is located in Ile Alatau national ecological park, Assy plateau, Assy pass (H2510), stop on the panorama place, after we will see Assy river, Assy plateau with great view, local nomads obt the way with big herds of animals, lunch in the way, arriving at the Jjaman Ui gorge and tract, making camping place, dinner and overnight a t the tents.

Transfer: Jaman Ui tract – Alabaita mount – Bortogai reservoir – Kokpek village – Sharyn canyon – Catle valley – Kokpek village – Baiseit village – Chilik village Almaty apple city (285 km).
By the way we will visit Bortogai reservoit, will see Saks kurgans and Bortogai dam, stop on the well with artesian water, walking down to Bartogai reservoir, continue tour to Sharyn Canyon with Castle valley, Lunch in canyon area, optional walking to the canyon to the Sharyn river (3 km 1.5 hour). Back to Almaty city (200 km 3.5 hours), by the way in Baiseit village visiting local market.
