Excursion to the Soldier's Gorge -
If you drive from Talgar city towards the mountains, you will find many places to visit here. There are many small gorges in each of which you can make a mountain hike, sit around a campfire and have a great time.
The most interesting places are the Right, Left and Middle Talgar, as well as other gorges such as the Soldier Gorge, Aspen Gorge, Stone Gorge, Maralsai tract, Monakhovo gorge.

The gorge is located near the city of Talgar in the Almaty region. The distance from Almaty to the Talgar Gorge is approximately 28 kilometers, and the journey time is 30 minutes.

The gorge is very picturesque, we recommend traveling here in the summer, rains are possible here in the spring, and there is also a danger of avalanches and mudslides. Beautiful coniferous forest grows everywhere in the gorge, wild apple and poplar trees grow in the lower reaches of the gorge.
The nature of the Talgar Gorge is very rich, as well as many wild animals, both predators and hoofed mammals, live here. Here you can meet mountain leopard, wolf, lynx, weasel, marten, ermine. Of the ungulates, mountain goat, roe deer, deer, and wild boar live here. There are a lot of birds in the gorge. It is very easy to travel to this region as the gorge is located near the city of Almaty.
