Tours to the flora of the Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve -
Tours in Central Asia and Kazakhstan -
Tulips in Aksu-Zhabagly are not just flowers, but living symbols of awakening and life. Almost the entire reserve is painted in a red and yellow kaleidoscope in the spring. The famous Greig tulip and Turkestan tulip are especially dominant, which are not just beautiful - they are the progenitors of dozens of cultivated varieties of tulips in the world. Kolpakovsky tulip and Ostrovsky tulip also grow on the territory of the Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve in its foothills. Tulips in the reserve bloom in the spring, for literally one month, and in order to watch them bloom, you need to plan your trip in advance. Traveling for tulips, we will also see the reserve itself and travel around it and see its main attractions. You can also ride a horse or walk in the reserve. In the village of Zhabagly there are guest houses and small hotels where you can stay during our trip.
Wild tulips of Kazakhstan grow not only in the reserve, but also throughout Kazakhstan, both in the steppe and mountainous areas. Tulips can also be seen within the city of Almaty, for example, on the Kapchagai reservoir, and tulips also grow in the Zhambyl region in the Berkara gorge. It is important to remember that all tulips in Kazakhstan are under strict protection - they cannot be plucked or their bulbs dug up. Some species are listed in the Red Book of Kazakhstan, and serious fines are provided for damaging them. The best way to preserve this beauty is to photograph, admire and remember how fragile and beautiful wild nature is.
Tulips in Aksu Zhabagly are not flora in a reference book, this is the moment when the mountain breathes color and light. If a tourist sees this living wall of flowers, he feels that this is not just a photo for the sake of the feed, this is a real awakening: of nature, spirit, inspiration.
