The Bektemis Yerzhan Mausoleum is one of the sacred sites of Kazakhstan, as well as this object is included in the list of historical and cultural monuments of Kazakhstan.
How to get there -
The mausoleum is located in the Mangystau region, Tsupkaragan district, Kazakhstan. The main landmark here is the village of Tauchik, the distance from which to the mausoleum is 30 kilometers. The mausoleum is located in a deserted area of the Mangyshlak highlands.

Bektemis Yerzhan was a religious figure, wrote books, was not verbose, was born in 1887. He studied at the Kokiltash madrasah in Bukhara, graduated in 1926 and returned to his native lands for educational activities. He taught people a peaceful and creative life, taught local people to be friends with neighboring nations. Bektemis Yerzhan was a righteous and very kind man, who advocated justice and taught integrity.
