Karaman-Ata is an underground mosque and a complex of religious complexes and structures located on the Mangylshak peninsula. The Karaman-Ata Mosque was named after the great Sufi Karaman-Ata. The Karaman-Ata Mosque was cut down in the mountainside, the mosque dates back to the XII century. The mosque consists of several rooms, the main hall, rooms for prayers and meditations, lighting enters the mosque through light openings cut in the ceiling. One of the legends says that Karaman-Ata was the son of another Sufi Shopan-Ata, the Shopapn-Ata mosque is located next to the Karaman-Ata Mosque and in ancient times, both complexes were connected by an underground passage, which eventually collapsed. The territory where the Karaman-Ata mosque is located is considered a sacred land, it is believed that miracles happen here, people are healed from ailments and filled with power. A house for pilgrims has been built next to the mosque, where you can relax and spend time.
