Maiden's Tears is a mountain waterfall, a natural attraction and a checkpoint in the place of active recreation and hiking in the mountains, located in the Prokhodnoye gorge above the Alma-Arasan sanatorium at an altitude of 1834 meters above sea level. The waterfall is formed by a small river that flows into the Prokhodnaya River, which then flows down the gorge and flows into the Bolshaya Almatinka River. The waterfall is very picturesque and easily accessible, its height is several meters. The water in the waterfall is crystal clear, you can drink this water. The famous thermal radon springs of Alma-Arasan are also located in the gorge, you can swim in them and heal your body, as well as in the river that flows nearby you can do contrast dips in the cold mountain water. Waterfalls in Kazakhstan are a tourist attraction because there are not many of them in the republic, so these places are very popular.
