Recreation and travel on the lakes of Kokshetau National Park -
Eco-tourism in Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions -
Lake Aiyrtauchik is a small and beautiful lake located in the same beautiful pine forest in the Kokshetau National Park. The lake is 1 kilometer long, 900 meters wide, and has an almost circular shape. Quiet, secluded, almost invisible from a bird's-eye view, this lake seems to have been created by nature itself for those who are looking not for noisy popularity, but for genuine depth and tranquility. The lake is surrounded on all sides by a pine forest where you can camp and have a great time watching the water surface and listening to birds singing. The water here is clear, with a slight greenish tint. In summer, fog rises over the surface of the water in the morning, and in the evenings the surface of the lake turns into golden and pink shades of sunset. All this gives the lake a poetic, even mystical atmosphere. Next to the lake is the famous mountain "Two Brothers", which leads to a walking route and from the top of which opens a beautiful panorama of the park. You will see Lake Shalkar, Lake Lobanovskoye (Lobanovo), and in the distance to the south you will see Lake Imantau and Mount Imantau.

Information -
The name "Aiyrtauchik" is a diminutive of "Aiyrtau", which means "forked mountain" in Kazakh. It seems to suggest that this is not just a lake, but part of a large, ancient natural system that carries the power of earth, water and time. This lake is like a little brother of the mountains, modest but important. The lake is associated with a touching legend about lovers who met here secretly from their warring families. They say that if you walk around the lake three times at dawn, holding hands with your loved one, then love will be eternal. There are 4 children's health centers and children's summer camps located on the shore of the lake, which makes it a popular recreation area for children in the summer. The lake is very popular among travelers in Northern Kazakhstan and among fishermen, there are two types of fish in the lake: crucian carp and tench. Mass tourists rarely come here, and this is its special charm. Here you can hear birds singing, the forest rustling, and distant mountains echoing. This is an ideal place for those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle, stop and just hear the silence.
