Information -

Lost among pine forests and granite rocks, Lake Lobanovskoye is considered one of the most picturesque reservoirs of the Kokshetau National Park. This crystal clear lake of tectonic origin stretches for 2.7 kilometers, framed by golden beaches and bizarre rock formations. Its depth reaches a maximum of 12 meters, and the water is amazingly transparent - on a sunny day, the bottom is visible 5-6 meters deep. A special microclimate creates a unique ecosystem here: white herons and mute swans nest in the coastal reeds, and crucian carp, tench and pike live in the depths of the lake, attracting fishermen from all over the region. The history of the lake is shrouded in mystery - local old-timers say that in the 19th century there was a farmstead of the merchant Lobanov, after whom the reservoir is named. Archaeologists have discovered traces of ancient settlements of the Bronze Age on the banks, and in the surrounding rocks you can find mysterious depressions, which popular rumor calls "shamans' bowls." Today, Lobanovskoye is a popular ecotourism destination, where you can rent a gazebo with a barbecue, take a ride on a catamaran, or go along an eco-trail to an observation deck on a cliff with a stunning view of the entire lake surface.
Lake Lobanovskoye is for those who are looking for a real connection with nature. There are no crowds of tourists here, and that’s the whole point. The lake is ideal for quiet walks, bird watching, morning fishing, or meditation by the water. In summer, the air is filled with the aromas of pine resin and herbs, and in winter, the lake is covered with a crystal crust of ice, turning into a silent field of light.
