The Plateau peak is a mountain peak, located on the famous route to another peak called the Marble Wall, the difficulty of climbing the peak is 4A, 5A, the peak is located at an altitude of 5850 meters above sea level. The peak of the Plateau is located at the junction of the Saryjaz ridge with the Meridional One. The peak is intermediate when climbing the Marble Wall peak. If we use the classic way of climbing through the Plateau peak, in this case the peak is located between the Border Guard peak with a height of 5100 meters above sea level and the Marble Wall peak with a height of 6140 meters above sea level.

The national team of the Kazakh Republican Council of the DSO "Spartak" in the period from August 14 to August 22, 1965 made a traverse of the peaks: Bayankol with a height of 5791 meters above sea level - the peak of Kazakhstan with a height of 5669 meters above sea level, Karla Tau peak with a height of 5550 meters above sea level, the peak of the Plateau 5850 meters above sea level and the peak A marble wall with a height of 6140 meters above sea level declared for the USSR championship in the class of traverses. The Border Guard is located 3.5 kilometers (in a straight line) to the north and slightly to the east, and the Marble Wall is located in the southeast 3.3 kilometers from the Plateau. The top of the plateau is domed with a small snow ridge stretching from northeast to southwest at right angles to the Meridional Ridge. The crest of the ridge extending from the summit to the north is rocky, in the south direction is rocky-ice. A 3.5-kilometer-long glacier descends from the summit to the southwest, which at an altitude of 4600 meters above sea level connects with glaciers descending from the western slope of the Marble Wall and forms the Severny Inylchek Glacier with a length of 42 kilometers.
