Tour itinerary:
We depart from Almaty at 7:00 AM. We'll drive from Almaty to the Big Almaty Gorge, a beautiful mountain gorge. Along the way, we'll pass Hydroelectric Power Stations No. 1 and No. 2 on the Bolshaya Almatinka River, then arrive at Big Almaty Lake (H2200). Here we'll stop to admire the lake's panorama, take a photo, and then hike to Cosmos Station (H3000). Parking is available. The hike takes about an hour from Almaty.
The hike starts at 8:00 AM.
From Cosmos Station, we'll climb for 2-3 hours to Big Almaty Peak, offering the best panorama in the Big Almaty Gorge and a view of the city. If the weather is clear, we'll see the Kapchagay Reservoir, located 60 km north of Almaty. Snack on the way. Lunch at the peak.
Return to the parking lot, rest, return by car to Almaty, hotel.
