Tour to the Asmantai-Matai Salt Marsh -
The Asmantai-Matai Salt Marsh is located in the Aktobe Region not far from the city of Aktobe, near the border of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on the Ustyurt Plateau.
Also located in this area are the Mataykum Sands, a desert area with sand dunes reaching heights of up to 8 meters. Ancient burial sites such as Uzymola, Temirbay, Azgantai, and others were discovered within the Asmantai Matai Sor. The Asmantai Matai Sor is a flat plain that is directly related to the Ustyurt Plateau, and a vast area of difficult-to-pass salt marsh.
