Tourist Information

Uzun-Kargaly Waterfall is located at an altitude of 1,340 meters. Follow the river upstream and then turn left along the trail into a small canyon. From this turnoff, it's about 1 kilometer to the waterfall. Leave your car at the forester's hut (the start of the hike to the waterfall).

On the way, you'll come across a dam that was built here during Soviet times on the Uzun-Kargaly River. The path initially follows the right side of the river. After the forester's hut, you need to cross the river over a bridge and then continue along the right side. Before the waterfall, in a narrow gorge, you'll have to cross the river twice, so be very careful. The river is not very high in water and is not turbulent, as it is a small tributary of the main river.
