Tour to Turgen gorge and Issyk kurgans in Almaty region
Welcome to the Issyk kurgans in the Turgen gorge, the gorge is located in the Almaty region not far from the city of Almaty, the distance from the city to the gorge is 44 kilometers, 1 hour on the way. You will pass through the village of Turgen, which is located at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level in the foothills of the Zailiyskiy Alatau. To get to the gorge, follow the signs on the road. Above the Turgen gorge there is a high-mountainous plateau of Assy, which can be reached by the same road, as well as the Medvezhy waterfall. There is an astronomical observatory on the plateau, from which you can observe the stars. Traveling throughout the area, we can visit several attractions of the region at a time.

Transfer: Almaty apple city – Guldala village – Panfilov village – Bayterek village – Issyk Kurgans – Issyk village – Turgen gorge – Bear waterfall (Medvejiy water fall).
By the way we will visit Issyk Kurgans (IV cen.) in 1970 here was found Golden Man symbol of Kazakhstan. He was all dressed in golden wear, consist of 4 thousand golden parts with symbols of beasts, characterized for Saki tribe. Turgen gorge is located in Ile Alatau national ecological park, walking to waterfall Medvejiy (Bear waterfall) (30 min), visiting trout fish farm in Turgen gorge, lunch on trout farm with fresh trout which you can catch here in local water pound.
