The Konyr-Aulie cave is located 20 kilometers from the village of Toktamys in Mount Aktas, Abay district, Abay region, Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Konyr-Aulie cave was formed as a result of a tectonic fault and the influence of natural external forces on the granite rock (wind, sun, water, summer-winter changes). The length of the cave is 65-70 m, width 10-22 m, height 2-14 m. To the right of the main entrance of the cave there is a narrow cavity 50 cm wide, 110 cm high. This narrow cavity is 12 m long, with an extension of 10 m., height about 5 m., 12 m. Further in the northern direction, the height of the ceilings of the cave increases to 20 m., diameter 5 - 7 m., 2 domes, ends adjacent to the lake. At the exit from the main room to the lake there is a room 12 - 15 m high. The temperature of the cave air does not exceed 10 degrees. Many famous people visited the Konyr-Aulie cave (Abai Kunanbaev, Mukhtar Auezov, etc.)

In the Konyr-Aulie cave at the very end there is a fresh lake with crystal clear turquoise water. The water in the cave is healing and magical. Locals say that if you take a dip in the lake and make a wish, it will definitely come true. The cave is located on an ancient place of power. The phenomenon and energies of the cave have not yet been studied. Local elders say that water has the ability to heal open cut wounds. Water stops bleeding and heals the wound. The most famous fact about the cave that local residents know is that the cave and the water in it and the general energy of the place heal women from infertility. This fact has been established many times; many women who visited the cave could then become pregnant. In addition, pilgrims from all over the world come to the Konyr-Aulie cave; they come here to guess the tribute to our father the creator, pay tribute to mother earth, talk to the spirits and hear their advice. Near the cave lives Shirakshi, the caretaker of this cave. He greets guests, reads a prayer and takes pilgrims to an underground lake. Not long ago, a small hotel was built near the cave, where you can stay for the night. There are also small guest houses for spending time, convenience and relaxation, you can eat in the guest houses.
