Excursion to Baydakskay petroglyphs in Aksu Jabagly nature reserve

The Baidaksay Gorge is rich in its unique nature, but it is also famous for the discovery of petroglyphs of our ancestors.

Baidaksay is located within the Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve, near the village of Zhabagly. Horseback riding is available for your convenience, but you can also explore the gorge on foot.

Baidaksay Gorge is located 3 kilometers from the Ulken Kaindy tract, making it the closest site to petroglyphs in the reserve. There are 20-30 carvings here, featuring hunting scenes, depictions of wild and domestic animals, and even depictions of groups of people. We invite you to the Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve.
