Transfer: Almaty – Kuldzhinsky tract – Guldala settlement – Panfilovo settlement – Bayterek settlement – Baydibek bi settlement – Karaturyk settlement – Shelek settlement – Bayseit settlement (140 km) - Nura settlement – Kokpek settlement – Sharyn River - Chunja settlement – Chunja hot springs – Ketmen settlement – Ketmen Mountains - Ketmen Pass (203 km)
In the village of Bayseit, we will make a stop to buy fruit on the road, look at the local bazaar, you can also buy hot cakes and have lunch here, then we will stop at the local berkutchi "Cauldron Tokens" and see a small farm that keeps and breeds eagles (golden eagles), there is also a berkutchi museum. It is possible to look at a demonstration hunt with a golden eagle, but it is necessary to plan it in advance and coordinate with our company to calculate the travel time. On the way we will pass the Ketmen pass, the height of which is 3045 meters above sea level. Gradually along the route we will arrive in the valley of the Shalkudys River, here we will set up a tent base camp, dinner and overnight in tents.

Shalkudysu in translation from Kazakh means "beautiful place", the height here varies from 1900 meters to 2650 meters above sea level. The places here are very beautiful, the road passes through mountainous terrain, it is possible to travel here only by 4x4 high-pass cars. The valley is famous for its herds of cows and sheep that are grazed here by nomads. on Lake Tuzkol, where we will arrive later, in good weather, you can see the peak of Khan Tengri with a height of 6995 meters above sea level and the mountains of the Central Tien Shan. The sunsets and sunrises in this place are very beautiful, here you can take great photos and record videos. Lunch on the road, dinner and overnight at Tuzkol Lake in a tent base camp.
Breakfast at the base camp. Transfer: Tuzkol Lake – Zhabyrtau Mountains (11 km) - Zhabyr Mountains – Zhanatekes village - Tekes village (17 km) - Kyzylush Mountains - Karatogan village – Ulken Valley-Kokpak gorge and Ulken River-Kokpak – camp site - Buzunbai Gorge (56 km).
The height at which the crossing of this day takes place is 2200-2500 meters above sea level, the entire crossing takes place in a mountainous picturesque area. Along the way we will meet mountain rivers, as well as here we will definitely see nomads in yurts and their herds of animals. The middle and upper part of the gorge is very picturesque, tourists are attracted here by fabulous and unique places. Lunch is on the way. Dinner and overnight at the base camp in the Buzunbai Gorge.
Breakfast at the base camp, after tomorrow we will hike to the beautiful lake Karakol at an altitude of 3102 meters above sea level. Return to the base camp, lunch at the camp. Transfer: Buzunbai Gorge – Ulken-Kokpak gorge – ford across the Ulken-Kokpak River - Orta-Kokpak gorge – Kurykokpak River – ford across the Tekes River – left bank of the Tekes River (eastern slope of the Basuly-Tau Mountains) (59 km).
Along the way we will see the beautiful mountain river Ulken-Kokpak, pass a mountain pass with a height of 2200 meters above sea level, and descend into the mountain valley of the Orta-Kokpak river, then we will pass into the valley of the Tekes river. Lunch is on the way. Dinner and overnight at the base camp in the valley of the Tekes River.

Transfer: Tekes River – Tekes River Valley – camp site - Left Tekes River – Gajayyp sarkyramasy Waterfall (26 km) - Gajayyp Waterfall – upper reaches of the Left Tekes Gorge (3 km) - upper reaches of the Left Tekes Gorge – upper reaches of the Tekes River (8 km) - Koksai River – Akbeit River – Akbeit village – Zhana Tasashi village – Tasashi village – Sarykol village – Kainatpatuz salt deposit (55 km) - Karkara village – Kegen village (19 km) - Kuluk-Tau Mountains (15 km)

Breakfast at the base camp. Moving: Kuluk-Tau Mountains – Zhalauly village – Kegen River (18 km) - Bestyubinsk reservoir (21 km) - Kensu village – Orta-Merke River – Shet-Merke River – Toguzbylak village – Zhalanash village – Zhanatalap village – Algabas village – Zhenishke River (78 km).
It will take us the whole day to move to the places listed above, all the places along the route are very beautiful and picturesque. Lunch is on the way. Dinner and overnight at the base camp in the valley of the Zhenishke River.
Breakfast at the base camp. Transfer: Zhinishke River – Biesuimes gorge – Taban-Karagai forestry – jaeger post – Tuime River – Taldybulak River - tourist base – Kayrakty Gorge (53 km).
Lunch is on the way. Dinner and overnight at the base camp in the Taban-Karagai tract.

Transfer: Taldybulak River – watershed plateau between the Zhinishke and Shilik rivers – Biesuymes Gorge – Zhinishke River – Zhinishke village – Kindyksay River mouth (41 km) - Zhambas River – Kyzylauz River – Sulysai River – Kyzylauz Pass (24 km) - Karaarsha River – Koktobe Mountains – Asy River – Asy Pass – observatory Asy-Turgen (21 km).
On the 8th day we will make the final mountain crossing to the famous Asa plateau, this is the most beautiful high-altitude plateau along which the mountain road passes. Lunch is on the way. Dinner and overnight at the base camp on the Asy Plateau near the Asy-Turgen Astronomical Observatory.
