Tour to Fort Shevchenko and Bautino
Sights of Fort Shevchenko –
Travel from Almaty to Mangistau region –
This tour includes visits to such attractions as the city of Fort Shevchenko and village of Bautino. Both attractions are located in Mangystau region, the whole tour will take us one day. This program does not include overnight stays, but if desired, you can increase the program and visit additional places under this program. Our company can develop a program of any complexity in the Mangystau region.
In Shevchenko Fort we will visit: Taras Shevchenko Museum, Mangyshlak Museum of Fishing History and Ethnography, Muryn Girau Museum, Shevchenko Park, Austrian Stella, Idris Serikbayev houses, Kurgantash Hill, the buildings of the first radio station in the Alexander fortification.
In the village of Bautino we will visit: the monument to Bautin, old houses, the obelisk of Alibi Dzhangeldin, the ruins of St. Nicholas Church, the lighthouse of 1850, the Bautinsky seaport, Cape Tupkaragan.

Tour itinerary:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer Aktau city – Fort Shevchenko city (145 km).
Here we will visit the Taras Shevchenko Museum, which was opened back in 1932, our guide will tell you the history of the museum of its creation, etc. Next we will visit the Mangyshlak Fishing Museum in which we will visit three halls in which we will see the exhibits of the museum and study the history of the development of fishing in the region. We will visit the Muryn Girau Museum built in 1859, this is a poet and singer. We will visit Shevchenko Park in 1873. We will visit the Austrian stele of 1915. We will visit the Kurgantash hill where a memorial to the victims of political repression is installed. We will visit the building of the first radio station built in 1917, this is the first place in Kazakhstan where a radio station was installed.
Transfer: the city of Fotr-Shevchenko – the village of Bautino (5 km).
Here we will visit the monument to Bautin in 1918. We will visit the obelisk of Alibi Dzhangildin in 1975. We will visit the ruins of St. Nicholas Church and the 1850 sea lighthouse.
Transfer: village of Bautino – Cape Tyupkaragan (21 km).
On the way we will visit the garden of Dubsky 1884, visit the shore of the Caspian Sea, walk along the coast, if desired, you can swim in the Caspian Sea, in summer it is hot here and you can sunbathe.
Transfer: Cape Tupkaragan – Bautino – Fort Shevchenko – Aktau (171 km).
