The mosque in the city of Zaisan is an architectural monument; in the past it was a sacred and sacred place in the city. The mosque was built in 1909 by order of the local merchant Bolshoi Gadzhi Bekshentaev. The builder who built it is folk master Bayazit Satbaev. The mosque building is a rectangular building, height 5.8 meters, width 13.2-29.9 meters. On the western side there is a mihrab. Originally the mosque had two doors. The facade is divided into two harmonious tiers of equal proportions, arched brick windows are located above the belt separating the tiers. The Zaisan Mosque consists of 2 rooms, a service room and a prayer room. The prayer room is divided by two columns and made of patterned brick. In 1920, the minaret of the Zaysan Mosque was destroyed by local activists, and in 1959 its dome burned down, because of this the building lost its proportional harmony.
