Kenzhekol is a group of ancient burial mounds of Kimaks, Kipchaks and Saks of the X-XII century, a sacred sacred place, a place of pilgrimage, a place of archaeological research, a national treasure and an archaeological landmark of the Pavlodar region. The mounds are an ancient necropolis with a length of several kilometers, there are both large mounds and small mounds. Archaeological excavations are being carried out on the mounds by archaeologists and scientists from the Margulan center, 5 of the 8 planned mounds have been explored. The mounds were first discovered and explored here in the 60s, later full-scale archaeological research began at the site in 2008.

The Kenzhekol mounds are located on the land from the village of Kenzhekol to the village of Baydala, Pavlodar region, Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Kenzhekol mounds number dozens of mounds, during excavations ancient burials of different classes were discovered here, both nobility and ordinary people were buried here. A man was found in one of the burials, a horse was found nearby, the researchers determined that the horse was sacrificed and buried with the man. During excavations at the Kenjekol mounds, fragments of Chinese silk fabrics, a wooden medieval chariot, dishes, knives and other utensils were found. The Kimaks were large tribes and their tribes were known as the Kimak Khaganate, they lived on the territory of Kazakhstan and constantly roamed the territory of the current republic.
