The mausoleum of Sultanmakhmut Toraighyrov is an architectural monument, a monument of local significance, a sacred and sacred place and a place of pilgrimage in the Pavlodar region. The mausoleum is a small square two-storey building made of white stone, erected at the burial site of the Kazakh poet Sultanmakhmut Toraighyrov. The mausoleum was built in 1993, on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the great poet. The mausoleum is located in a picturesque place of Bayanaul district, it is surrounded by low beautiful mountains and forests of Bayanaul Nature Reserve Park.

The mausoleum of Sultanmakhmut Toraigyrov is located 3 kilometers east of the village of Toraigyr, in the Bayanaul Nature Reserve Park, Bayanaul district, Pavlodar region, Republic of Kazakhstan.

Information -

Sultanmakhmut Toraigyrov is a Kazakh poet, educator, was born on October 28, 1893 in the Argyn tribe. His mother died when he was 2 years old, he was raised by his grandmother until he was 6 years old. Later, the father and his two sons moved to Bayanaul and settled near the village of Toraigyr. 1911, with the help of his newly educated teacher Nurala, he got acquainted with literary books, newspapers and magazines in Kazakh and Tatar languages. In 1912, he entered Akhun Rahmankuli Madrasah in Troitsk, but after studying there for about a year, he dropped out due to lung disease. Toraighyrov stopped studying at the madrasah and taught Russian lessons, teaching children all summer at a cottage near the city. From that time on, he focused on poetry. Returning to Troitskiy in the autumn of 1913, Toraighyrov got a job as the secretary of the head of the Aikap magazine and wrote many books such as: "Poems and sayings", "My mistake from a painful name", "About books of poetry in the Kazakh language", "How to study and teach in the Kazakh language?" etc.
