The Palace of Culture of Metallurgists is an architectural monument, an elegant building of individual design, built in the style of Soviet monumental architecture, located in Ust-Kamenogorsk and is one of the main attractions of the city. The buildings of the palace are included in the list of historical monuments and occupy one of the first places among them. In 2017, it was decided to rename: the "Palace of Culture of Metallurgists" was renamed the "House of Friendship", various cultural events of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk take place in the building, concenters, various kinds of performances, creative meetings, educational meetings, various kinds of training are held here. The main task of the House of Friendship is cultural and educational work in the East Kazakhstan region. The building has been restored more than once; it is completely preserved in its original form.
