Molodezhny Pass is a mountain pass, located at an altitude of 3750 meters above sea level, on the famous mountain route from the Small Almaty Gorge to the Kumbelsu River area, the Kumbelsu Gorge and further to the Big Almaty Gorge and back. The pass is scree, is part of the Kumbel mountain spur, is a rocky isthmus of the Molodezhny Peak and Titov Peak. The pass is open for travel from May to September, and is also very popular among fans of active recreation and multi-day mountain hikes. Usually, people climb to the Molodezhny Pass from the Tuyuksu tract, where the high-mountain glaciological station T1 is located in the Small Almaty Gorge. The hike takes one day there and back, this route is also used for a mountain hike to Malysh peak.
