Mountain route from the Small Almaty gorge to the Bolshoe Almaty gorge -

Peak Molodezhny is a beautiful mountain peak, located at an altitude of 4147 meters above sea level, is a natural landmark, a place for active recreation and mountain climbing. From the peak comes the Molodezhny glacier, which descends into two gorges at once, the Small Almaty gorge and the gorge of the Bolshaya Almatinka River. The ascent to the top usually begins from the Tuyuk-Su tract above the high-mountain resort of Shymbulak. There is also a second route from the high-mountain hotel Alpine Rose through the moonlit meadow Shukur with an exit to the pass in the Kumbelsu gorge. There is also a third route from the intersection of the road to the Big Almaty Lake with the Bolshaya Almatinka River, where the forester's house is located, along the path along the river. Both of these routes are not popular, but interesting, usually this route takes 2-3 days, depending on your athletic training. Usually, Molodezhny Peak is climbed from the Tuyuk-Su tract in the Small Almaty Gorge in one day, there and back. At the peak, a stone tour is installed and there is a container in which a traveler's journal is kept, in which everyone who has climbed to the top makes notes. From the peak, a beautiful panorama of the Zailiysky-Alatau mountains opens up, the Soviet peak and lake No. 13 under this peak are clearly visible, the Big Almaty Gorge, the Big Almaty peak, the Tourist peak, the Tien Shan Astronomical Observatory, the Dzhusaly-Kezen pass and the Cosmostation are visible.

Peak Molodezhny is located in the Zailiyskiy Alatau mountains between the Big Almaty Gorge and the Small Almaty Gorge, the upper reaches of the Bolshaya Almatinka River, Almaty region, Republic of Kazakhstan.

Safety -

When hiking to Peak Molodezhny, be sure to use the services of certified mountain guides, they will prepare you for the hike, instruct you and safely lead you along the route. Do not go to the mountains alone, do not leave the trail, do not go close to the cliffs, watch the weather and choose clear sunny days for your trip. Do not walk in the mountains at night and in the dark. Calculate your time in the mountains wisely. Do not forget about altitude sickness and the need for acclimatization in the mountainous region, for a further comfortable stay in the mountains.
