Travel in the Katon-Karagay National Reserve -

Organization of jeep tours to Lake Yazevoye -

The road to Lake Yazevoye, located in the Katon-Karagay National Park, promises to be a real adventure for lovers of outdoor activities and nature. This route, running through the picturesque mountain landscapes of Eastern Kazakhstan, is accessible only in the summer months - from June to August. It is ideal for jeep tours on all-wheel drive (4x4) vehicles with high cross-country ability. Given the complexity of the route, it is recommended to go on a trip in a group of at least two cars to ensure mutual assistance if necessary.
The road is completely country, rocky and difficult in places, with sharp turns and no asphalt pavement. However, these are the conditions that make the route especially interesting for off-road enthusiasts. Along the way, you will be able to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Katon-Karagay Park, which is famous for its unique nature and rare plants.
The final point of the route will be Lake Yazevoe - the pearl of the Kazakh Altai. This is an amazingly beautiful high-mountain lake with clear water, surrounded by dense forests and majestic mountains. From its shores, there is a stunning view of the famous Belukha Mountain, the highest peak of the Altai Mountains. You can set up a campsite on the lake and spend a few days enjoying nature, silence and clean mountain air.
Not far from the lake is the Yazeviy waterfall, to which a walking route leads and signs are installed. The waterfall is located on the Yazevaya River. This waterfall is another natural attraction of the region, which is definitely worth your attention. A walk to it will give you new emotions and unforgettable views.
