The cable car starts from the Medeu sports complex (1691) in the Medeu tract and goes to the high-mountain station Shymbulak (2500), then you need to transfer to the next stage of the road and climb to the Big Talgar Pass (3163). At the beginning of the cable car there is a large station with parking for cars, rest areas, cafes and toilets. The cable car passes over the Medeu mudflow protection dam and the Malaya Almatinka River.

The cabins are completely safe. Medeu has a ticket office where you can buy a ticket for the cable car, and tickets can also be purchased online through a special application. The length of the gondola car is 4,572 meters, ranking 3rd in the world in length. The cable car is equipped with all the latest safety systems, an additional diesel generator in case of power outage, communication in the cabin, lighting, etc.
