Climbing Ozerny Peak in the Big Almaty Gorge -

Ozerny is a mountain peak, a picturesque, eternally snow-covered peak, located at an altitude of 4130 meters above sea level, the mountain is named after the Ozernaya River that flows at its foot. In front of the mountain is the Big Almaty Lake, all these natural attractions are part of the Ile-Alatau Nature Park. There are two mountain routes to the peak, the first ascent to the peak was made in 1938 during the USSR by a group of climbers led by Boris Legostaev. From Ozerny Peak, a panoramic view of the Soviet Peak, Legostaev Peak, Choibolsan Peak, Molodaya Gvardiya Peak and the Kungey Alatau Ridge opens up.
We invite you to climb Ozerny Peak, the climb will take at least three days, for this a base camp will be set up in advance at the foot of the mountain from where the climb to the mountain will be made. We have all the necessary equipment, guides, porters for climbing the peak. The height of the peak is not great, so we will not need oxygen here. There are two routes to the peak, of varying difficulty, the easiest route is 1A category of difficulty, special equipment is not required.

Ozerny Peak is located 40 kilometers from the city of Almaty in the upper reaches of the Big Almaty Gorge, in a mountain valley 5 kilometers behind the Big Almaty Lake, Bostandyk district, Almaty region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
