Sarytau is a mountain range of the Zailiyskiy Alatau, a natural attraction of the region, a place for active recreation and travel. The length of the ridge is 16 kilometers, the width is 13 kilometers. The heights here are from 1700 meters to 3700 meters above sea level. The Sary Tau mountain range includes the beautiful mountain valley Zhenishke and the Zhenishke River. Also here is the Amanzhol mountain pass, to which a mountain road leads.

The entire area is considered difficult to access, so traveling here is only possible by 4x4 high-traffic vehicles. You can get to these places through the high-mountain plateau Asy along a mountain road. It is possible to move around this area only in the summer, in winter the area is completely inaccessible.

The Sarytau Mountains are located 300 kilometers from Almaty in the upper reaches of the Zhenishke River, the mountain valley of the Zhenishke River, the eastern part of the Zailiyskiy Alatau mountain range, Yenbekshikazakh district, Kegen district, Almaty region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
