The Aktau Mountains (White Mountains) are very unusual and beautiful; white color predominates here, which is why the mountains were called the White Mountains or Aktau. We recommend traveling to the Aktau mountains in spring and early summer, since here you will see a blooming desert and it will not be as hot as, for example, in July or August. The Aktau Mountains are also famous for their paleontological world; here you can find the remains of ancient amphibians such as ancient crocodiles, turtles, and rhinoceroses. Here you can take great photos or shoot videos. The main predominant colors here are white, pink, red and green. In the mountains there are animals such as kulans, mountain goats, goitered gazelles, it is quite difficult to meet them, because the animals are very secretive. When traveling to the Aktau mountains, you need to be well prepared, it is better to use 4x4 off-road jeeps, you also need to have at least 2 liters of water per day per person, a Panama hat for your head, sunglasses, good trekking shoes, and a windbreaker. If you want to stay here overnight, you must have all the necessary equipment, tent, sleeping bag, food, etc. with you.
