Jeep tour to Lake Yazevoye from the village of Uryl -
Lake Karakol - also known as Lake Yazevoye, locals call this lake Karakol, which in Kazakh means "black lake". The lake really has such a color depending on the phase of the day, this is especially visible at dawn, at this moment the water in the lake really acquires a black oily color, this is an incredible sight. Also, the dark color of the water prevails in the Yazevoy River where it comes out of Lake Yazevoye. The dark color of the water is also visible at the Yazevoy waterfall. Perhaps one of the reasons for such a special color of the lake is its location on a peat cushion and therefore acquires such a color. Many streams flow into the lake from the mountain slopes, if you do a little research, you will see that in one stream the water can be slightly warm to the touch and have a dark shade. In another stream nearby the water can be cold and crystal clear without any shades. This water effect is probably associated with the filtration of water in peat.
