Furmanov Peak is a mountain peak, also known as Furmanovka Mountain, located at an altitude of 3053 meters above sea level in the Zailiyskiy Alatau Mountains, a place for active recreation, a favorite place for mountain hikes for residents of Almaty. The peak is located in the upper reaches of the Kim-Asar gorge, another famous peak Panorama (3083) is located nearby. Both peaks are visited in one hike, from the peaks a beautiful panorama of the Tien Shan Mountains and the city of Almaty opens up. Along the way, you will pass the famous "Swing" (2500) where you can take great photos and swing on a swing. Usually, people come here to take spectacular photos against the backdrop of the mountains, as if you are flying on a swing over the mountains. The distance from the parking lot at the Medeo sports complex in the Small Almaty gorge to Panorama Peak via Furmanov Peak will take you about 5-7 hours (distance 9.7 km one way). Follow the signs, the mountain route is marked, the names of the checkpoints and the approximate travel time to these points are indicated.
