Where to relax and spend time in the Prokhodnoye Gorge -
Overnight stay at Terra Glade and radial hikes to the peaks -
Terra is a beautiful mountain glade, located in the Prokhodnoye Gorge at an altitude of 2632 meters above sea level, a place of rest for lovers of active recreation and simply an incredible natural landmark. People go to the glade to be in the mountains, spend time with friends and go on a mountain hike, usually they stay at the glade for the night and the next day they make radial hikes to the nearby peaks. The glade can be visited in one day, from the beginning of the route above the Alma-Arasan sanatorium to the glade the distance is 5 kilometers, it takes about 4-5 hours to walk, depending on your athletic training. People relax and spend time at the glade or stay for two or three days or go down.
From the Terra glade you can climb such peaks as Vechernyaya Mountain (3410) and Pila Mountain (3790). Also, if you move up the gorge, you will reach the Dzhusaly-Kezen Pass (3333), from which you can climb Bolshoy Almatinsky Peak and Tourist Peak (3954). Also in the upper reaches of the Prokhodnoye Gorge is the most beautiful Dikoye Lake, to which a mountain route also leads.

The Terra glade is located 5 kilometers from the Alma-Arasan sanatorium in the upper reaches of the Prokhodnoye Gorge, in the Zailiysky Alatau Mountains, Bostandyk District, Almaty Region, Republic of Kazakhstan.

When hiking in the mountains along the Prokhodnoe gorge to the Terra glade, be sure to use the services of certified mountain guides, they will prepare you for the hike, instruct you and safely lead you along the route. Do not go to the mountains alone, do not leave the trail, do not go close to the cliffs, watch the weather and choose clear sunny days for your trip. Do not walk in the mountains at night and in the dark. Calculate your time in the mountains wisely.
