Tourist Peak is only 40 meters short of the four-thousander. The distance from the Dzhusaly Kezen Pass to the summit is 3 kilometers one way, the climb can take you from 2 to 4 hours depending on your athletic training. Make your ascent to the peak in the first half of the day. This is the best time for mountain climbing, as the weather in the mountains can change in the afternoon, at such heights even in summer it can snow.
