Pass Radostny (Joyful) is a little-known pass, located in the area of Lake Rakhmanov at an altitude of 2260 meters above sea level. This pass is especially popular among tourists and guests visiting the Rakhmanovskie Klyuchi sanatorium, which is only 5 kilometers away. The path to the pass from the sanatorium is one of the most picturesque routes in this area, about 5 kilometers long. From the pass a beautiful mountain panorama opens up, you will see Mount Belukha. This route passes through dense forests and open mountain meadows, allowing travelers to enjoy the beauty of nature at every stage of the ascent. In favorable and clear weather, impressive views open up from the top for tens of kilometers around. There is a small, very beautiful, nameless lake on the pass.

Radostny Pass (Joyful) is part of the Katon-Karagay National Nature Park, one of the most picturesque and popular nature reserves in Kazakhstan, which attracts travelers with its unique nature. The pass runs through a small mountain range and serves as a watershed for two rivers, the Black Berel River and the Arasan River, filling their waters with melted snow and rain streams flowing down the mountain slopes. From the pass, you can see views to the northeast, stretching for about 29 kilometers over the mountains. In the southwest, just 2 kilometers away, there is Lake Arasan (Maloye Rakhmanovskoye) and the Arasan River, which stand out brightly among the green forests and mountain slopes. The lake, the river and the road leading to the Rakhmanovskie Klyuchi sanatorium are clearly visible from the height of the pass, adding a special charm to this place. Throughout the entire route to the pass from the southeast side, you can admire Lake Rakhmanovskoye, which is often called the "pearl of the Kazakh Altai". This lake is one of the most beautiful natural sites in the region, creating an unforgettable panorama, especially against the backdrop of mountain peaks.
