Lake Arasan is a small picturesque lake, located at an altitude of 1759 meters above sea level in the beautiful mountainous area of the Altai Mountains, is a natural landmark on the way to Lake Rakhmanovskoye in the Katon-Karagay Park. The length of the lake is 520 meters, the width is 405 meters, on the lake there is a small island, the length of which is 150 meters, the width is 70 meters. If desired, you can walk to the island by boat. The lake is also known as Small Rakhmanovskoye Lake and is formed by the picturesque mountain river Arasan, which flows into and out of the lake, also on this river is the famous Arasan waterfall and here is the sanatorium Rakhmanovskie Klyuchi. All these attractions can be visited in one day, as they are all located in close proximity to Lake Rakhmanovskoye.
