The Arasan River is a beautiful mountain river, located at an altitude of 1804 meters above sea level and flows into the famous Rakhmanovskoye Lake in the Katon-Karagaysky district. The length of the river is 20 kilometers, it originates on the slope of the Southern Altai Mountain range. The river meanders very strongly before flowing into the lake and creates small islands of extraordinary beauty. While on the lake, you can walk along the river and enjoy its extraordinary beauty. Next to the river on the lake is the Rakhmanovskie-Klyuchi sanatorium, where you can swim in the hot springs. Also nearby is the Rakhmanovsky waterfall, 80 meters high, to which a mountain trail will also go and you can see it. In the same area is located Lake Yazevoye, which we will also visit, traveling through the Katon-Karagay Natural Park.
