Mountain passes and routes along them in the Almaty region - 
One-day hike to the Swing in the Almaty mountains - 
Komissarov Pass is a picturesque mountain pass, located at an altitude of 2060 meters above sea level, also known as the Kimasar or Kimasarovsky mountain pass. The pass is located within the Kimasar gorge, along which the mountain route to the famous swing in the Almaty mountains (2543 m) passes. The route is considered not difficult and lovers of active recreation, and travelers go here to take atmospheric photos on the swing against the backdrop of the Almaty mountains. 
There are two routes along the gorge, one goes along the bottom of the gorge, the second route goes higher along the ridge through the pass. Both routes are very interesting, and for variety, people go through them first the first, then the second. Usually, they choose the first route through the Komissarovsky Pass, reach the swing, and then return along the second route, which runs along the saddle of the gorge through the spring. The total distance is 10 kilometers. 
If desired, you can climb along this route to the Enthusiasts Glade, which is on the way to Furmanov Peak (3050 m) and to Panorama Peak (3080 m). This route is also considered not difficult and very interesting. 
How to get there and visit - 
The Komissarovsky Pass is located in the Zailiysky Alatau Mountains, near the Maly Almtainsky Gorge and the Medeo tract, Kimasar Gorge, Ile-Alatau National Park, Medeu District, Almaty Region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
