The ascent to the peak begins from the Big Talgar pass, which can be reached by the Medeo-Shymbulka cable car, then the ascent passes through the Bogdanovich Glacier. There is also another main route from the Small Almaty Gorge through the Mynzhilki tract, the Alpingrad glade and the Manshuk Mametova pass and lake with an overnight stay in the Alpingrad glade.
