On the way to Tuyuk-Su, you can visit the Gorelnik thermal hot spring and the Shymbulak high-mountain base where you can ski in winter. If you go up the Small Almaty gorge from the Tuyuksu alpine camp, you will reach such mountain passes as the Talgar pass (3163), the Abay pass (3065), the Pioneer pass (3840), the Tuyuk-Su pass (4100), the Molodezhny pass (4147). On the mountain moraine, where the famous Tuyuk-Su glacier is located, a small mountain house has been built, which serves as a mountain shelter for climbers. The house serves as a starting point for a large number of peaks and crossings through passes that lead to the Ozernaya River valley and the Left Talgar mountain valley.
