Photo tour from Astana to the Buiratau National Park -

Recreation areas in the Buiratau Park -

Togyz Shoshak is a glade, also known as a stone tract, a picturesque natural formation, located at an altitude of 392 meters above sea level, in another equally famous and beautiful tract "Sokolinye Gory" (Falcon Mountains) in its southeastern part. The glade is surrounded by low stone remnants of bizarre formation and various shapes, this gives the place a fantastic beauty and surreal landscape of another planet. All these beauties are located in the Buiratau National Park, which makes a trip to this place an unforgettable adventure. In the glade in the summer, a yurt camp operates, there are places for rest and spending time. There are gazebos, there are special places where you can make a fire to cook food over an open fire. Also, on the glade there is a national Kazakh swing "Alty-Bakan". Next to the glade there is a spring "Auliye Bulak" which is sacred, you can walk to it on foot, just do not forget to take a container for water with you to collect water. The water in the spring is considered healing and energizing the human body. Information -

The Togysh Shoshak glade has its own legend. Local residents keep the legend: once upon a time an important battle or a meeting of sages took place here, and each hill is a memory of a person who was part of this history. Some say that this is a place where ancient clans gathered, others say that the hills are sacred and cannot be touched. And even if science has its own explanation, the soul still believes in miracles. The glade is surrounded by picturesque forests and slopes. In the spring it is covered with greenery and flowers, in the summer it gives coolness and shade, in the fall - warm colors. The air here is clean, the wind is soft, and every step on this land seems to bring you back to yourself. This is a place for those who are looking for inner silence, not noise. Now it is quiet and deserted here, but the atmosphere is as if from another time. If you come here alone and listen, you can catch a strange hum in your ears - either the wind playing between the stones, or the echo of ancient chants. If you see strange metal plaques or coins among the stones - do not touch them! These are offerings, and taking them is a bad omen.
"Togyz Shoshak" is not a tourist attraction. There are no signs or souvenirs here. But there is something more valuable - a sense of authenticity. You stand among the hills, look at the horizon and understand: everything you need is already nearby. Earth, sky and memory. If you are in Buiratau - do not pass by this clearing. Better sit down on the grass, listen to the wind and just be. Because "Togyz Shoshak" is not only geography. It is a state of mind.
