Trip through the Kazakh Small Hills in the Akmola region -
Jeep tour to the Sokolinye Mountains from Astana -
Imagine: somewhere in the depths of the Yereimantau Mountains, where the wind plays the melodies of forgotten legends, a stone giant rises into the sky – the mighty Mount Zhaushoky. Its slopes, cut by time and the elements, keep traces of ancient spirits, and the peak, which props up the blue sky, seems to have been specially created for those who dare to challenge nature itself. The mountain is located next to the Sokolinye Gory (Falcon Mountains) tract and is part of the Buiratau National Park. This is not just a mountain. This is a portal to a world where the legends of the elders still live, where every stone remembers the hooves of Genghis Khan's horses, where at night in the gorges invisible to the eye creatures whisper. From the top of the mountain, a beautiful panorama of the steppe that surrounds it opens up, especially beautiful here at the beginning of summer, when the sings bloom and at sunset and at dawn, when the area is painted in red tones.
