Traveling through the mountain passes of the Almaty region -
Trapezium Pass is a mountain pass located at an altitude of 3140 meters above sea level, in the mountains of the Trans-Ili Alatau. This is a unique place in the Ile-Alatau mountains, which attracts tourists with its unusual shape and spectacular landscapes on the way to it. This route is suitable for a one-day hike in the mountains and opens travelers to the beauty of the mountainous nature of Kazakhstan. The pass is very popular among fans of outdoor activities and hiking, as it is located on a mountain route in the upper reaches of the Gorelnik gorge. On the way to the pass through Gorelnik gorge, you can visit the famous Gorelnik waterfalls. Also, through the pass you can get to such mountain peaks as Tereshkova Peak and through Tereshkova pass to Yuny Geolog peak. Another route to the pass runs from the Kok-Zhailau tract through Three Brothers Mountain and Kumbel Peak.
