Where to climb rocks in the Almaty mountains -
Peak Asker (Warrior) is a rocky mountain peak located at an altitude of 3460 meters above sea level in the Trans-Ili Alatau Mountains. The peak is very popular among fans of outdoor activities, mountain hiking and especially among rock climbers. The route to the top has a difficulty of 1B, 2A, 2B, 3B, there are places with steep rock walls where you can practice rock climbing. Also, when hiking to the peak along the easiest route, you need to have the skill to work with special mountaineering equipment. The route to the peak starts from the combi station No. 1 or the "Cone" station, to which the Medeo-Chimbulak cable car leads from the Medeo tract, before reaching one span of the cable car to the Big Talgar pass. From the top of the mountain there is a stunning mountain panorama of the city of Almaty and mountain peaks such as: Chimbulak Peak (Mount Chimbulachka), Oktyabrenok Peak, Shkolnik Peak and Abay Peak.

Asker Peak is located in the Ile-Alatau Mountain Park in the Small Almaty Gorge, in the Big Talgar Pass area, Medeu District, Almaty Region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
