Sacred and sacred places in Borovoe -
One-day tours and excursions in Burabay and the surrounding area -
Among the mountain ranges covered with thick pine trees, where the stones remember the steps of ancient warriors, one of the most mysterious places in Borovoe is hidden - Kenesary Cave. This is not just a natural niche in the rocks - it is a place of power, legends and the spirit of freedom. The diameter of the cave is small and is 6 meters, the height at the highest part is 3 meters. The cave is very popular among vacationers in the Burabay National Park, it is considered a place of power and a place of pilgrimage. The cave is located on a small hill next to Lake Borovoe (Auliekol), from the cave there is a beautiful panorama of the surrounding area. A convenient pedestrian route with stairs and signs leads to the cave. The Park also has a square-glade of Ablai Khan, where a memorial obelisk is installed. Other natural attractions that surround the cave are Lake Maloye Chebachye (Small), Lake Bolshoe Chebachye (Big) and Lake Shchuchye.
The Kenesary Cave received its name in honor of Kenesary Kasymov, the last Kazakh khan from the middle zhuz, a great fighter for the independence of his people in the 19th century. According to legend, it was here, among the inaccessible mountains and shady forests, that Kenesary hid with his companions. Here he gathered advisers, hatched plans for the struggle for freedom, here oaths were sworn and prayers of ancestors were offered. The very atmosphere of the cave seems to preserve echoes of that distant era - the ringing silence of the steppes, heated debates, heavy thoughts about the fate of the people. According to other sources, Kenesary loved hunting and often hunted in the Barabay forests, he liked this cave, here he retired after hunting, rested and held meetings here.

Information -
The Kenesary Cave is a natural depression in the rock, surrounded by a coniferous forest and stone sculptures of nature. It is not very large in size, but this is where its special appeal lies. Approaching it, you feel how the air temperature changes slightly, the wind stops, and for a moment it seems as if time stands still. Through the soft twilight you can see the unevenness of the walls, as if bearing traces of ancient hands. Locals say: if you touch the stone inside the cave and make a cherished wish, it will definitely come true, because the spirits of the steppes are especially close here. The path to the cave passes through a pine forest, under the crowns of which it is easy to forget about the bustle of the world. The path is not difficult, the walk is suitable for anyone who wants to touch the mystery.
Kenesary Cave is a place where the past and the present meet. Here you feel the connection of times, pride in brave ancestors and at the same time - a strange feeling of lightness and freedom. Every stone here breathes history, every rustle of the wind reminds: "Remember who you are. Remember where you come from." This is a place where you should come at least once in your life to feel that invisible thread that connects the hearts of all who love their land.
